Publication and attribution

The public catalog includes the imported English Wikipedia article corpus and locally maintained articles. Wikipedia-backed pages must preserve page-level source, contributor-history, and CC BY-SA attribution. Local pages should explain their subject with substantial, useful prose, rely on identifiable sources, and provide enough context for a reader to understand the topic.

Empty placeholders and automatically generated filler are not acceptable as locally authored articles. Imported Wikipedia articles remain publicly discoverable as attributed source-based pages and may be developed through the normal editing and mediation workflow.

Sourcing and accuracy

• Material claims should be traceable to reliable, independent sources whenever practical.
• Primary sources may establish what an organization or person said, but should not be used alone for broad or disputed conclusions.
• Facts, estimates, and opinion should be clearly distinguished. Uncertainty and material disagreement should not be hidden.
• Citations should support the nearby claim and should not be added merely to make a page appear well sourced.

Neutrality and living people

Articles should describe material viewpoints fairly and in proportion to the available evidence. Advocacy, promotional copy, personal attacks, and unsupported accusations are removed. Claims about living people receive heightened scrutiny: contentious material without strong sourcing should be removed promptly rather than left online while a dispute continues.

AI assistance

AI may assist with research organization, drafting, source comparison, or mediation, but it is not itself a factual source. Editors remain responsible for checking citations, quotations, dates, names, and claims. The site identifies its AI-referee workflow and preserves the resulting rationale so readers can assess it. AI-generated filler, mass-created pages, and text published without meaningful review are not acceptable.

Corrections and disputes

Readers may correct an article through the edit tools or challenge a specific revision. A challenge should identify the exact wording at issue and explain the evidence or policy concern. The response and ruling become part of the public mediation record. Obvious legal, privacy, safety, attribution, or living-person problems may be removed without waiting for the normal challenge process.

Advertising independence

Advertising does not determine article selection, wording, mediation outcomes, or corrections. Ads are kept off search results, account and utility pages, and other surfaces where they could distract from or be confused with site functions.
